Anthony Thomas

Anthony Thomas brings over 27 years of leadership experience across banking and fintech, and recently joined GFTN as Chief Strategy & Growth Officer.

Before joining GFTN, Anthony was the Global Managing Director for FinTech at Berlin-based Delivery Hero, where he led the company’s Payments and Embedded Financial Services businesses across nearly 70 countries.

A recognized fintech leader in Southeast Asia, Anthony serves as Chairman of MoMo, Vietnam’s leading financial services super app, and was previously the CEO of GCash in the Philippines, part of Ant Group’s network of digital wallets.

Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years with Citibank across seven markets in Asia, the United States, and Latin America.

Anthony’s extensive experience underscores his commitment to leveraging financial technology to foster innovation and inclusion in emerging markets.
