Anubhav Sharma

Anubhav heads the global Business Development for NPCI Products working with its wholly owned subsidiary - NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL). In his present role, he drives International Business initiatives and engagements working with the Governments, Central Banks and Networks like NPCI overseas to create business opportunities and deepen relationships.
He has 25 years of experience in Payments including working with National Payment Network and Commercial Banks managing digital payment products and Business strategies. These include Real Time payment platforms, Cards, ATMs and Digital banking. In his previous role at NPCI he spearheaded the launch of UPI platform and BHIM App. He has also been associated with other citizen scale platforms like NFS, IMPS and *99# in NPCI.
He started his career in 1999 with Cadburys and has since worked with entities such as Axis Bank, Barclays Bank and DBS Bank leading the alternate Channels product strategy and business initiatives. He holds MBA in Human Resources and Marketing.
