Claire Calmejane is a dedicated C-level executive with a wealth of experience in catalyzing growth and enhancing operational efficiencies across international markets. With 17 years of expertise in steering multi-billion dollar roadmaps for global organizations, Claire possesses deep knowledge at the nexus of Digital, AI and blockchain technology within financial services. As a part of Leia Capital, an angel fund by 30 women for women-led ventures, she is the referent in shaping the ESG, crypto and AI investment strategies. At Societe Generale, she was accountable for the bank's work on new business models and AI for the Group. Her solid foundation in AI and cognitive science, obtained from EPITA, combined with her business acumen developed at HEC and her experience as a visiting scientist at MIT, position her as a reference on the worldwide financial ecosystem in conversations about the future of blockchain, Web3 and AI.

Darko Stefanoski is a partner at EY in Zurich and leads the law (including innovative digital law) team for EY Switzerland. In his role, he advises SMEs (small-scale enterprises) and large companies in Switzerland and abroad on various legal and regulatory questions including in relation to future technologies such as cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain and AI. He also lectures on these topics at the University of Zurich as part of the CAS Financial Market Law and Banking & Finance.

Daniela Schackis is Deputy Director General in Banking Supervision at the European Central Bank. The Directorate General SSM Governance & Operations (DG-SGO) ensures the efficient decision-making process of the Supervisory Board and its structures. The DG acts as gatekeeper for new players entering the market (banks, shareholders, board members), withdraws banking licenses and investigates alleged breaches of prudential regulations. The DG leads innovation, integration, simplification and knowledge management in Banking Supervision. Daniela joined the ECB in July 1998. She held various positions in Human Resources, Risk Management and Statistics and has always been a promoter of innovative and data-driven ways of working. Prior to the ECB, she worked at Eurostat. Daniela holds a master’s degree in economics from the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.

Jochen is Head of Financial Technology EMEA at NVIDIA, the globally leading accelerated computing platform company. He has spent the last 25 years in various roles on the topic of AI and Advanced Analytics in financial services, as a thought leader, implementer, researcher, and ecosystem shaper. He works with executives, data scientists, developers, partners, and communities in the global NVIDIA ecosystem. He also leads up the topics Trustworthy AI, ESG, and Climate Risk in financial services.

Jochen is a financial data scientist and received his degree and Ph.D. from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Before NVIDIA he worked as a consultant, entrepreneur, and researcher with asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and central banks.

Mr Leong Sing Chiong was appointed as Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development on 1 February 2021. He oversees the Markets & Investment, Development & International, FinTech & Innovation, as well as Sustainability Groups. Prior to this, Mr Leong served as Assistant Managing Director overseeing the Monetary & Domestic Markets Management Department and the Reserves Management Department since June 2018. He also served as Assistant Managing Director of the Development and International Group from 2013-2018.

Mr Leong began his MAS career with the Reserves Management Department in 1993 and served as Staff Assistant to the Managing Director from 1997-1998. In 1999, he joined the Monetary Management Division and was responsible for the implementation of MAS’ monetary policy and money market operations. Thereafter, Mr Leong was appointed Chief Representative of MAS’ London Representative Office from 2002-2004. Mr Leong spent six years with the International Department from 2004-2010 and was appointed as the Executive Director of Financial Centre Development Department from 2010-2013.

Mr Leong is a recipient of the Public Administration Medal (Silver). He holds a B.Sc Economics (Monetary Economics) from the London School of Economics and is married with two children.

Mari-Liis Kukk is head of the Innovation Department at the Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority (Finantsinspektsioon). She also leads the work of the authority’s Innovation Hub and Regulatory Sandbox, which are aimed at helping FinTech companies to understand how their solution may fit the regulatory environment. She is a member of several EU-level working groups that deal with financial innovation, including ESMA’s Digital Finance Standing Committee. She has a PhD in Economics and Finance from Tallinn University of Technology and her academic research focuses on the role of FinTechs in building a novel financial sector. She has co-authored three editions of the Estonian FinTech Report.

Mohammad Alblooshi is the Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Innovation Hub. His passion for encouraging the growth of FinTech and emerging technologies in Dubai has made him a strong advocate of fostering innovation within the DIFC start-up ecosystem – DIFC Innovation Hub. Mohammad has also been a foundational driver in building DIFC’s reputation as a FinTech hub across the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore and India.
Amongst other leadership responsibilities, Mohammad is also spearheading the DIFC Launchpad and Dubai FinTech Summit. In his earlier position as the Sector Head of FinTech at DIFC, Mohammad has grown through the ranks and in his current position, he is headed towards deepening the centre’s FinTech ecosystem.
Previously, Mohammad worked on aligning DIFC’s FinTech mandate with the needs of the start-up ecosystem in the UAE. This led to the introduction of subsidised licensing schemes and a more integrated offering for FinTech firms in DIFC.
Mohammad holds more than a decade of experience working with leading financial institutions, such as Barclays, Standard Chartered and Lloyd’s TSB. He has also undergone a leadership programme by the Institute of International Finance, which is dedicated to preparing the young future leaders of the financial world.

Sandrine Chabbey is an attorney-at-law and policy advisor at the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF), with a focus on innovation in the financial sector, covering notably questions relating to AI and distributed ledger technology. Prior to joining SIF, Sandrine Chabbey was a practicing lawyer in Zurich, advising clients on banking and financial market regulations, including matters relating to the use of new technologies.

Steven Maijoor joined the Executive Board of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) on 1 April 2021. Steven's remit includes supervision of banks, supervision of AML/CFT and horizontal functions and legal services. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Board of Supervisors of the European Banking Authority. He is also a member of the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation.
Before joining DNB's Executive Board, Steven was Chair of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), from 2011-2021. Between 2004 and 2011 he was a managing director at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). Prior to that he was Professor (1994-2004) and Dean (2001-2004) at the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University.
Steven graduated from the University of Groningen with a degree in business economics and obtained a PhD in the same subject from Maastricht University in 1991.
