Lars Sjögren

Lars Sjögren is a senior banking and payments executive with more than 25 years of experience across C-suite leadership, board governance and strategic advisory. He has held senior roles in Nordic banking, transaction banking and financial technology, with a consistent focus on digital transformation, payments innovation and regulated financial infrastructure.

Today, Lars serves on several boards and advises established financial institutions, fintech companies and market infrastructure initiatives on strategy, growth, governance and execution in for example Sweden, Germany and Singapore. As a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, he brings deep sector expertise and an international perspective to complex questions at the intersection of banking, technology and regulation.

Lars is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Emerging Payments Association Asia, reflecting his active engagement with the global payments ecosystem and cross-border financial innovation.
