Mikkel Grønlykke

Mikkel Grønlykke is President of Banking Circle Group, based in London. He leads the Group’s global strategy, growth ambitions and operational performance. A seasoned international banking executive who joined the business from Citi, Mikkel is driving Banking Circle’s next phase of expansion, cementing its position as a leading financial infrastructure partner to banks and regulated financial institutions worldwide.
As President, Mikkel spearheads the Group’s international growth agenda, working closely with clients, regulators and strategic partners to accelerate innovation and strengthen Banking Circle’s global footprint. He is focused on scaling the organisation at pace, enhancing its product and service capabilities, and embedding robust governance and risk management across all markets.
Mikkel brings more than 24 years of international banking experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Prior to joining Banking Circle, Mikkel held a number of senior leadership roles at Citi, most recently serving as EMEA Corporate Banking Head, where he led corporate banking activities across the region.
