Melissa Chambers is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sitehop, a UK deep-tech cybersecurity company developing ultra-low latency, crypto-agile and post-quantum encryption solutions for securing data-in-motion across critical infrastructure, telecom and enterprise networks.
Since co-founding Sitehop in 2021, Melissa has led the company through product development, manufacturing, commercialisation and international expansion, positioning Sitehop at the intersection of high-performance networking, cyber resilience and post-quantum security.
With nearly 30 years of experience spanning hardware engineering, RF systems, advanced manufacturing and deep-tech startups, Melissa specialises in scaling complex infrastructure technologies from concept to deployment. Prior to Sitehop, she held senior leadership roles at Curvalux and co-founded several technology ventures focused on wireless communications and advanced networking systems.
Melissa is a strong advocate for resilient and energy-efficient digital infrastructure and regularly speaks on the operational challenges of securing critical networks in the transition toward post-quantum security architectures.
Under her leadership, Sitehop has received recognition through the UK National Cyber Awards and won Cyber Security Innovation of the Year 2025 at the ClimbUK Awards.

Quantum computing is no longer a distant theoretical promise - leading institutions are already running portfolio optimisation, derivatives pricing, and compliance simulations that classical computers cannot match for speed or accuracy. But readiness across the industry remains deeply uneven, the talent gap is acute, and the post-quantum cryptography migration clock is ticking loudly. This session brings together pioneers to map where quantum technology genuinely stands in financial services - and what it will take to move from early advantage to industry-wide transformation.
