As Chief Communications Officer at the Global Finance & Technology Network, Preeti Dawra leads the strategic vision for elevating the organisation's brand and shaping the public perception amongst key stakeholders. Driving the organization's communications strategy, she is responsible for strengthening the brand's narrative and thought leadership, amplifying its media presence globally and communicating with key stakeholders to expand GFTN's influence on the world stage and position it as a trusted voice in financial innovation and inclusion.
She has been the Director of Global Marketing & Strategy in the Office of International Engagement, President's Office at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and the Head of External Relations at the National University of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
She serves on the board of Princeton in Asia and is an advisor to Rockefeller Foundation, India.
Preeti was an assistant speechwriter and communications and branding advisor in the President's office at UNDP. She served as the managing editor for the eminent UN magazine, The Earth Times. She has written a column Asian Conversation for Mint, India’s leading business newspaper.
Preeti holds a Masters in International Relations from Columbia University, an MBA from University of St Thomas and a BA in Economics from Delhi University.
