Björn Flückiger is Head Legal of SIX Digital Exchange AG and Member of the Executive Committee. Björn is responsible for all legal & regulatory matters concerning SDX as a FINMA-supervised CSD and stock exchange.
Prior to joining SDX, Björn held various other positions in the financial sector. Notably, he was Head of Legal Services & Regulatory Affairs of Crypto Finance AG, a FINMA-supervised Swiss securities firm. Additionally, he was part of the Digital Transformation Legal unit of UBS (Director, 2020 - 2022) as well as of the Fintech-Desk of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA (Senior Legal & Policy Specialist, 2015 - 2020) where he was inter alia tasked with the managing and treating of Fintech-related legal inquiries and other Fintech-related projects from a regulatory and prudential perspective. He also worked for FINMA's Enforcement division (Associate, 2013 - 2015) prior to his innovation-related work.
