Gert Sylvest is Head of Strategy and Partnerships for Semfi where he leads the embedded fintech venue and partnership strategy.
Gert is also co-founder of Tradeshift (2010), a global B2B network SaaS facilitating 240Bn USD of transactions yearly with more than 2.5M network companies for some of the worlds most well known brands.
In addition, Gert was on the Hyperledger governance board for 2 years. Previously with Accenture and Avanade, Gert was responsible for the technical design and pilot implementation of European (PEPPOL) P2P digital infrastructures which by now have been adopted for national B2B and B2G infrastructures in at 19 countries, and being adopted by at least 37 countries worldwide.
