I joined Bluefire AI in June last year having been an adviser to them at Fintech Connex (FTC). My more formal career is somewhat of a sandwich, the 'meat' being my time working on the bail outs of Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS during the GFC. Here, I was a founder team member of UK Financial Investments, an entity within Her Majesty's Treasury. Afterwards had I ran the European Banks practice at HSBC during the Eurozone crisis before joining CA CIB as Global Head of FIG and Public Sector. My early career before the GFC was spent as a research analyst being II ranked for Banks. From there I joined Standard Chartered where I was in charge of the Group's capital in my role as Deputy Group Treasurer.
