Josef Jelinek

Josef Jelinek is a fintech strategist and research leader with over a decade of experience at the intersection of financial innovation, policy, and market intelligence across Asia-Pacific.

He currently serves as Assistant Director of Content at the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), a non-profit established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where he co-leads intellectual direction and shapes the organisation's positioning across global policy and industry discourse.

Prior to GFTN, Josef spent six years as Research Director at Kapronasia, leading market intelligence, go-to-market strategy, and thought leadership mandates for global financial institutions and technology firms expanding across the region.

Josef holds an MSc in Globalisation and Development (Distinction) from SOAS University of London.
